Memory Club is meant for those interested in keeping their brain healthy through senior years. The club members together carry out several enjoyable exercises, activities and games giving a workout to the brain. These exercises help stimulate the brain, make it think, and increase the attention span and creativity. Each session of the club is unique. As a result of this class participants learn not only how to challenge the brain but also develop several new interests. Club meets once a week for 1 1/2 hours. Several Memory Clubs have been helping the participants in attaining a healthy brain.
Memory lab and memory club are similar activities to motivate the brain but are conducted for two separate groups, the first one for the persons with dementia and the second one for those interested in giving a workout to the brain. The names given to both the activities are however separate.
